Valerie Huei LiGan Singapore

Dr Valerie Gan is a Senior Consultant Urologist at the Department of Urology, Singapore General Hospital (SGH). She is currently Director, Quality & Safety, Programme Director, Pancreas Transplant & Surgical Director, Kidney Transplant at SingHealth Duke-NUS Transplant Centre (SDTC). She is also Programme Director for the SingHealth Urology Residency Programme. Dr Gan was accorded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Award and did her fellowship training in kidney and pancreas transplantation at Glickman Urological & Kidney Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA in 2015. She is a gazetted transplant surgeon by the Ministry of Health, Singapore. She serves on its advisory subcommittee on renal transplantation and is Deputy Director, National Pancreas Transplant Programme. Besides transplantation, she specializes in minimally invasive surgery for kidney cancers and other urological diseases as well as performs microsurgical procedures for male subfertility.
