Joreen has served as a Senior Transplant Coordinator at National University Centre for Organ Transplantation (NUCOT), National University Hospital for 12 years, specializing in solid organ transplantation. She serves as the central link between surgical teams, donors and recipients, overseeing the full trajectory of care from initial evaluation and donor recipient matching to peri-operative logistics and long-term post-transplant follow up. At NUH, Joreen has coordinated numerous living and deceased donor kidney transplant and simultaneous pancreas kidney transplants, managing donor recipient matching, immunological workup and peri-operative logistics. Beyond clinical coordination, Joreen provides compassionate counselling to families navigating lifesaving transplants, mentors junior coordinators and contributes to quality improvement initiatives that help actively mentor and trains junior coordinators and contributes to quality improvement initiatives that enhance transplant outcomes and patient safety.
