Mr. Geoffrey Gui Singapore

Geoffrey is one of the Chief Operating Officers in Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) overseeing National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) and SingHealth Food Services. Concurrent to his COO role, Geoffrey oversees healthcare transformation in Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and supports the Chief Executive in planning for the future hospital and health system that leverages on care redesign, automation & technology and a transformed workforce. With more than 20 years of experience in the public healthcare sector, Geoffrey has helmed various portfolios in the areas of strategy management, service operations, analytics and support operations in SGH. As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Healthcare practitioner, Geoffrey is one of the master coaches in quality improvement at SGH and SingHealth. His interests are in healthcare innovation and improvement. Geoffrey has also served as the director in CEO’s Office at Bright Vision Hospital in 2014/5. His stint in providing hospital administration support to the Chief Executive and overseeing daily operations and governance of the hospital gave him the perspectives and experience of running an organisation in the Intermediate and Long Term Care sector. Geoffrey fervently believes in the development of young talents and has been involved in the Healthcare Management Executive (HME) Programme since it restarted in 2009. He is currently the programme lead and is responsible for the talent management of more than 40 HMEs across the cluster. As a trained dietitian, Geoffrey is an avid wellness and health promoter who read his undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics at the University of Sydney (Australia). He also received his Masters degree in Business Administration and Graduate Certificate in Applied Innovation from Singapore Management University and Graduate Certificate in Health Services Innovation from Duke-NUS Medical School.
