1.3 Guidelines

Format of presentations

  • There are three types of presentations: oral, moderated poster, and video.
  • The submission criteria for poster and oral presentations are the same.
  • The abstract team will review and shortlist the abstracts for presentation by 12 June 2026.
  • Additional presentation format details will be provided after shortlisting.

A. Oral and Moderated Poster Presentations

Rules and Regulations

  • Abstract(s) should not have been published before UROFAIR 2026
  • Abstract(s) must be prepared in English
  • Authors must select a single category from the list provided
  • Maximum word count of 250 words
  • Funding: If funding has been obtained, indicate the source on “Source of Funding” page. All grant funding agencies and/or company abbreviations should be spelled out. If there is no funding, indicate it as “None”
  • Conflict of interest: All authors must disclose any COI. Please ensure that you are aware of the disclosures of all of the abstract’s authors before starting your abstract submission process

Layout

  • Abstract Title
    • The title should clearly define the topic
    • Standard abbreviations maybe used as follow: first use spell out the full term and follow with the abbreviation in parentheses
    • Do not mention institution in the title
  • Abstract Body
    • Introduction & objectives
    • Materials & methods (describe the material and methods)
    • Results (summarise the results presenting sufficient details to conclude)
    • Conclusion

B. Video Presentation

  • Authors must select a single category from the list provided
  • Each video must be accompanied by an Abstract Word file that contains the following:
    • Full video title
    • Exact running time of video
    • All contributing authors
    • An abstract of up to 250 words which should include: Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Conclusion
  • Videos should not be longer than 7 minutes
  • Use the aspect screen ratio 16:9 (widescreen)
  • All videos must be accompanied by English voiceover
  • Videos must clearly display the abstract title and authors (presenting author’s name should be highlighted)
  • Videos must be clear, in focus, and without excessive camera movement. High Definition (HD) is strongly recommended
  • Integrate picture-in-picture videos or animations to demonstrate complex processes or provide additional perspective
  • Use textual and graphic annotations to explain key features, processes, or data points clearly and concisely
  • No patient-identifiable information is allowed
  • PowerPoint slides may be included within the video if required
  • Only these formats will be accepted: WMV, AVI, MP4
  • Funding: If funding has been obtained, indicate the source on “Source of Funding” page. All grant funding agencies and/or company abbreviations should be spelled out. If there is no funding, indicate it as “None”
