Dr. Vineet Gauhar Singapore

Dr. Vineet Gauhar is a globally recognized urologist and researcher, ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide (Stanford University). Currently serving as a Visiting Professor and Head of Clinical Research at the Asian Institute of Nephro-Urology (AINU), India, and a Principal Resident Physician in Singapore, he is a pioneer in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for urolithiasis. ​With an extensive academic footprint of over 500 publications, Dr. Gauhar has revolutionized endourology through the innovation of the GLITZ system and by coining and developing the concepts of DISS (Direct In-Scope Suction) and FANS (Flexible and Navigable Suction) in ureteroscopy. He is also the co-inventor of FANS-Mini PCNL and pediatric FANS. ​As a dedicated Principal Investigator, he has led landmark global registries—including STUMPS, DISS, FANS, EEP, FLEXOR, FLEXOR-F, and BLAST—enrolling over 30,000 patients. An influential figure in the field, he serves on boards for international committees, including EAU Endourology and SIU, and contributes to the editorial boards of multiple Q1 journals. His current research focus encompasses AI applications in endourology, single-platform robotics, and advanced fluid management.
