Dr. Steffi Yuen graduated from The University of Hong Kong as a Nesta and John Gray Medalist and has completed her fellowship training at Queen Mary Hospital. Currently she works in New Territories East Cluster, Dr Steffi Yuen’s main area of interest encompasses endourology and minimally invasive surgery. Dr Stefif Yuen is the recipient of SIU Innovator Award 2025, Société Internationale d'Urologie (SIU). Globally engaged, Dr Yuen holds many roles in international organizations and has been appointed as the inaugural Li Shu Fan International Professor by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh for her global collaborative research on the latest cutting-edge technology in endourology. She serves as an Associate Member in European Association of Urology (EAU) Endourology Research & Publications Working group and is also appointed as the Vice-chairperson of International Alliance of Urolithiasis (IAU) Youth committee. She was a ⁠Japanese Urological Association (JUA) Scholar, and serves as an associate editor for SIU Journal, and on the editorial board of World Journal of Urology. Dr Yuen has coauthored more than 100 peer reviewed articles. One of the latest publication was chosen as the best clinical paper in European Urology – international, multicenter, randomized, noninferiority trial comparing FANS flexible ureteroscopy with mini PCNL in treatment of 2-3cm renal stones – has been well received and practice changing. She is globally recognizes her significant contribution to the innovation, education and international collaboration in the field of urology, with European Association of Urology awarding her the Best Researcher of the Year 2025 in Endourology.
