Prof. Prabhakar Rajan United Kingdom

Professor Prabhakar Rajan is a Consultant Urologist at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) and Barts Health NHS Trusts, London, specialising in robotic prostatectomy. He qualified at the University of Cambridge, completed a PhD at Newcastle University, trained in surgery and urology in Scotland, and undertook an advanced fellowship in robotic prostatectomy in Sweden. He is a Clinical Lead for the uro-oncology service at UCLH, part of the UK’s largest urology department. Professor Rajan holds a Chair in Urology and Robotic Surgery at Queen Mary University of London and is an Honorary Professor at UCL. His research spans prostate cancer biology, health inequities in urological cancers, and clinical trials of de-escalation strategies in testicular cancer. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and serves on the BAUS Section of Oncology Committee and the Prostate Cancer UK Research Advisory Committee.
