Dr. Jongsoo Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at Yonsei University College of Medicine and Severance Hospital, Seoul, Korea. He completed his medical training at Yonsei University, where he also pursued doctoral studies in urology after an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering.
His clinical and research interests encompass robotic and minimally invasive urological surgery, prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment, renal cell carcinoma, and urinary tract reconstruction surgeries. Presently, he serves as the principal investigator in prospective studies evaluating the Revo-i robotic system for partial nephrectomy and functional recovery following radical prostatectomy. Additionally, he has led clinical validation studies of AI-based and wearable bladder monitoring technologies.
Dr. Lee holds secretarial positions in the Korean Urological Association, the Korean Society of Urological Robotic and Endoscopic Surgery, and the Korean Prostate Society. He is the founder and CEO of UroInsight, a medical AI startup developing medical image-based diagnostic modules.
