Dr. Suman Chapagain, MS, MCh, is the current General Secretary of the Nepal Association of Urological Surgeons (NAUS). He is a Senior Consultant Urologist and Chief of Urology at the Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Surgery (HAMS). Dr. Chapagain is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology and Kidney Transplant Surgery at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj Medical Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal. His clinical expertise spans urology, including Endourology, Uro-oncology, laparoscopic surgery, renal transplant, and reconstructive urology. He’s particularly interested in minimally invasive surgery. As a dedicated academician, he’s authored numerous research papers on stone disease, bladder cancer, and renal transplantation. In his leadership role with NAUS, he advances urological health, education, and research standards in Nepal. Published over 50 articles in national and international journals. Presented papers, guest lectures, and chaired sessions at national and international conferences.
