Pre-congress Robotic/Laparoscopic workshop

This workshop provides training in minimally invasive laparoscopic upper tract surgery and robotic prostatectomy. Participants will choose between 2 tracks (Robotic or Laparoscopic) and have the opportunity to engage in surgery using latest generation simulation models.  

Objectives

Learn techniques for conducting laparoscopic and robotic minimally invasive surgery 

Perform a Robotic Radical Prostatectomy (Track A) or Laparoscopic Partial Nephrectomy (Track B) with one-to-one guidance by expert mentors using realistic simulation models 

Hands on with advanced laparoscopic operative tools and robotic platforms 

Who should attend

• Urology/Surgery Residents and Fellows 
• Specialist Urologists/Surgeons interested in furthering skills in laparoscopic or robotic surgery 

Robotic surgery (Track A) - S$200 

Recommended for participants who have already had some exposure to laparoscopy and would like to learn or refine robotic surgery skills 

Laparoscopic surgery (Track B) - S$100 

Recommended for participants who would like to learn or refine laparoscopic skills
