Dr Jeffrey Tuan Kit Loong is a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist and Research Director at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), where he heads the Department of Hepatobiliary, Pancreatic-Gastrointestinal and Urological Radiation Oncology. He holds joint appointments at KK Women's and Children's Hospital and Duke-NUS Medical School, where he holds the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor.
His clinical and research expertise encompasses proton beam therapy, stereotactic body radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and rectal spacer technology, with a subspecialty focus in urological and gynaecological cancers. He undertook advanced training at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and subsequently held a European Commission Marie Curie Research Fellowship at the National Centre for Oncological Hadron Therapy (CNAO) in Pavia, Italy.
Dr Tuan leads a prospective outcomes research programme and has published across radiation oncology, prostate cancer, and particle therapy. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and the Academy of Medicine Singapore and serves on the TROG Scientific Committee as Discipline Representative for Radiation Oncology.
